The home of this tasty edible and medicinal mushroom is the Brazilian rainforest. The ABM offers the highest content of valuable polysaccharides of all known medicinal mushrooms. The content of beta-d glucanes – a sub-group of the polysaccharides - is especially noteworthy. In addition, the Agaricus contains mineral substances, vitamins and important amino acids. Himematsutake has a special almond flavour.
