The MRCA Laminar Flow Hood has been designed for the high requirements of professional mycologists. The specially invented "Deep Pleat Technology" allows the use of a highly energy-efficient fan. Compared with common filters, the MRCA Laminar Flow Hood is characterised by high energy savings and a significant reduction of running costs.

Operating mode:
Ambient air is sucked into the filter box by the fan. The special design of the box and the arrangement of the filter plates, guarantees that the sterile air is blown out free of any air flow turbulences.

The filter has an efficiency of 99.99% at 0.3 microns. This means that only one of 10.0000 airborne particles that are larger than 0.3 microns (thousandths of a millimeter) will pass the filter.

This filter removes virtually all dust particles, bacteria, mold spores, fungal spores and other micro organisms from the air. By the use the MRCA Laminar Flow Hood, you get a clean and sterile air stream, in which your laboratory works can be done without the risk of high contamination rates!

Power supply:
Our Laminar Flow Hood is designed for connection to 230 V / 50 Hz AC with a continental European plug type C. In case that you have different power supply in your country, a transformer is needed.

Important information about order processing:
This filter can not be transported by mail or DPD. The transport is arranged with our carrier. Shipping costs can be quoted on request. Our support team will contact you after ordering by e-mail with all needed data for shipping.

The fan will be packed in an extra box for transportation. You just have to plug the fan into the fan opening on the backside of the filter box! Please pay attention to the air flow direction of fan!
