For successful growth mushrooms need suitable substrate, the right temperature and humidity, as well as oxygen and a little light. Our grow-kits are especially designed to provide these cultivation parameters in an easy to handle way.

The greenhouse consists of 1 floor pan, 12 endwalls and two-part housetop. There are no tools needed for assembling. During times in which you not cultivate mushrooms, you can demount the greenhouse and store it space-saving.

The electric heating cable is used, to provide the right temperature. To set the suitable temperature for each mushroom species, the electric heating cable will be triggered by the digital temperature control.

A constant high air humidity is essential for high-yield and good quality. Therefor the deluxe model of our Mega growkit was upgraded with an Ultraconic-fog-air-humidifier. To set air humidity to the exact level for every mushroom species, the himidifer is controlled with a digital air-humidity controller. The air circulation fan distributes the fog equally. In this way you can also cultivate discerning species. Enough fresh air is provided by the Humidity/CO2 Apparel, which will also pre-wetting the fresh air.

So you do not have to open the greenhouse for air exchange, this reduced contamination risk. A tube micro filter can be installed to minimise contamination risk in addition. This filter keeps the air pumped into the greenhouse free of bacteria and mould spores. To cover the floor pan during fruiting perlit is added. Perlit can take up loads of water and permanent dispense humidity to its environment.

Use as Incubator
Inoculated substrates have to be kept in clean place, under suitable conditions, during mycelium growth. During this stage perlit. air humidifier and the water box are not used. The suitable temperature for spawn-run can be controlled with the digital temperature controller.

Use as fruiting chamber
As soon as the whole substrate is grown through with mycelium, the environmental conditions have to be changed to initiate the fruiting phase. The basic structure of the greenhouse stays the same as in the spawn-run stage; the Humidity/CO2 pump as well as perlit will also be needed.
