The fruiting bodies of Panellus emit a substance, which reacts with the oxigen in air. This mushroom glwos in darkness geenish, like glowworms.

Convenient substrate:
Hardwood (most suitable: oak, beech)
For indoor cultivation we recommend woodchips mixture in substrate bags.

The fruiting bodies of Panellus are ochre brown, dark yellow to cinnamon colored and reachs a diameter of approx. 2 to 4 cm. The spores are whitish. Out in nature Panellus stipticus can be found in deciduous and mixed deciduous and coniferous forests.

This culture was cultivated from spores by our mycological team and refined via natural selection. We declare explicit that you may use this cultures only for inoculation of substrates. Copiing and reselling is expressly prohibited!
